24Earth data dashboard
Earth Indicators Dashboard
Ten signals that show how Earth’s climate and natural systems are changing—each paired with its observation date, history, source, and method.
Different clocks, one planet
“Current” does not mean the same date for every indicator.
Atmospheric gases may update monthly, sea level weekly, and global temperature annually. Every value below carries its own observation date and cadence so unlike periods are never presented as if they were simultaneous.

Read the signal, not just the number
Three details keep the comparison honest.
Observation date
The date belongs to the measurement—not the day you open this page.
Comparable change
The delta uses the previous like-for-like point and names that period.
Method and uncertainty
Baselines, revisions, coverage, and uncertainty can change what a value means.
Methods & provenance
A controlled snapshot of authoritative data.
24Earth stores the observations used in this release so cards, CSV downloads, and embedded charts stay reproducible. Long records use selected observations for responsive charts; the source links provide the full-resolution series. New releases are reviewed before the snapshot is replaced.
Not a single composite score. These indicators use different units, baselines, spatial coverage, and time intervals. They should not be added together or ranked by their raw values.
